30 Creative Things to Do to Get Over a Bad Day

Nobody wakes up and hopes for a bad day. But life happens sometimes and we find ourselves dealing with a bad day.

However, having a bad day is not as important as knowing what to do to get over the bad day.

Below are 30 different and creative ways to get over a bad day:

HOW TO GET OVER A BAD DAY

#1 Encourage yourself

Tell yourself that tomorrow will be better, and it’s one of those days. If you don’t encourage yourself, who will?

Probably others will, but do it first.

#2 Play relaxing music

Music has been discovered to influence moods greatly. Listen to songs that could elevate your mood, and not further depress it.

#3 Rant to a friend, your partner or anyone that listens to you without being judgemental

This works for me and my bestie, even though we are oceans apart from each other.

It’s funny how we do it.

Sometimes, either of us calls and say, “I feel like breaking someone’s head right now.” OR “You know what? I’m just tired of everything.” OR “Today wasn’t funny at all. I suffered….”

We talk or chat, and feel better afterwards.

I found this tips very enlightening. Well done, Sis Olubunmi Mabel.

I think it is important for people to know their limits in life.

Know what you can accept per time, treat people right and be fair, not overly judgemental to other people, especially in a work-environment.

Saying positive and Biblical words of affirmation will go a long way to help them stay on track.

Look into the mirror and speak to yourself, remind yourself of who you are and don’t allow the dictates of your current environment or situation define how you feel.

We’ve got the right to protect our own happiness.

    Wow!! This is beautiful.
Number 4 is my favourite and i combine it with number 11, it works wonders. Number 2, 12 and 23 when i can’t take a walk, i fall to them. That number 3 used to help but now that i am 8 hours ahead of friends, i just do others.
Thank you for sharing. God bless.
