Sure, some people are born with more privilege, but at the core, we all have the same raw potential.

The real difference lies in the habits we cultivate.

The small, consistent actions that shape our mindset, influence our decisions, and prepare us for the opportunities life throws our way.

That woman who seems effortlessly magnetic, graceful, and powerful?

She wasn’t born that way.

She intentionally adopted habits that elevated her from just another woman to that woman, a goddess in her own right.

When a woman cultivates the habit of constantly adding knowledge to herself, she does something to herself that no one can take away from her.

There’s so much information out there that can make you a much better person than you are; all you need to do is go for the knowledge.

One of the strongest ways to do this is by reading.

Read! Read! Read!

Reading can make an ordinary woman extraordinary.

And I don’t mean reading just anything like captions on Instagram posts, memes, or tweets.

I’m talking about studying enlightening and empowering information, such as history, philosophy, fiction, and serious information about your field of study, business, career, or craft.

This simple tip will shift you from being just any girl to being a woman of depth because you now begin to know so much and apply it to your life.

Other important things you can learn include a new language or mastering your native tongue, and learning new hobbies such as golf, tennis, chess, poker, skiing, equestrian, or other strategic games.

These things put you in a class of your own and make you stand out in rooms. 

Skills such as public speaking, creative arts (painting, writing, music), etiquette, posture, and effective communication are also important.

It could also be learning something you’re not used to, like taking dance or fitness classes, exploring museums and arts, or attending concerts.

You don’t have to do everything; you can’t even if you wanted to.

But you should pick one or a few that appeal to you and start with them.

Cultivating these habits will make an average woman transition from simplicity to sheer magnificence.

2. Finding her style

Two years ago, one of the best fashion decisions I made was to get my microblading done.

It completely transformed my look and upgraded it radically.

I’m constantly journeying to discover my style, which is very fulfilling.

Every time I find what works for me, I stick to it, and it makes my slay effortless.

It’s not a destination; it’s a constant journey of discovery, and that’s why it is a habit.

Constantly exploring her style and what looks good on her is one thing that can change a woman from being basic to being premium.

When she unapologetically invests in her looks, going all in on her hygiene, skincare, hair, wardrobe, scent, fitness, and dressing according to her body type, everything changes.

Something as little as constantly getting well-manicured nails and very neatly done signature hairstyles can make so much difference.

Suddenly, a woman who nobody used to notice blossoms into a version of beauty and charm that people can’t help but notice.

She didn’t exactly change as a person; she just developed a habit of taking care of her physical appearance and sticking to what works for her.

Map out your five, ten, and twenty-year career goals and take courses and programs to upskill.

When the subject of self-care for women comes up, people usually think of hair and nail appointments and SPA dates only.

And while it’s not completely wrong, self-care involves way more.

It’s the spa date and hair appointment, but it’s also the deeper stuff like healing from trauma.

Yes, let us talk about the elephant in the room -trauma.

Many women don’t realize how unstoppable they’ll become the moment they’re able to heal from the trauma plaguing them for years.

For many women, there’s only one thing stopping them from unleashing their full potential and magic, and it’s the battles they’re constantly fighting in their minds.

Making it a habit to understand your pain points, attachment styles & triggers, journaling, reflecting, and seeing a therapist when necessary are powerful self-care habits that can make a woman exude more elegance.

Eating healthy and breaking toxic eating cycles is another form of self-care because it involves taking care of one’s inner self, which empowers one to be stronger and live longer.

Another important part of self-care not spoken about often is prioritizing your reproductive health as a woman.

Make frequent appointments with a Gynecologist, whether you’ve had babies or plan to have them.

It’s still wise to see your doctor for proper checkups and to discuss important subjects like fertility and options like egg freezing if it’s something you want to do and learn the basics about reproductive conditions such as PCOS, Fibroid, Endometriosis, and menopause.

Don’t wish things away or wait until something scares or surprises you before you take your health seriously.
