I’ve been to Dalle Valle Herlev three times – September 14 2017, it was my birthday and I just wanted to eat out with my husband, so we chose Dalle Valle Herlev lunch buffet.

In October 2017, I had dinner there with ladies from church. And January this year, I went there with my family to eat out. This time, I thought to review the restaurant.

Staff

Waiters and waitresses act as expected – polite, swift, and responsive, nothing extraordinary.

Food

I’ve only had buffet each time I went there, so I can only talk about the buffet.

Buffet is very cheap and there are varieties of dishes to choose from – salads, potatoes, meat balls, pancakes, bread, chicken, pasta, fruits and dessert.

Also, you can eat as much as you want and as many times as you want. It’s buffet, people!

However, my last visit there wasn’t such a great experience unlike my first two visits. Maybe I got bored of having to choose from the same dishes every time. I’m a sucker for trying new things, so I wasn’t thrilled to be faced with the same dishes every time. No innovation, just the same boring food every time.

I loved the pancakes though, they were crispy, just the way I like them. The chicken was a total disaster for me.

I also think they leave foods on the buffet table for too long. Isn’t it better to have foods in little quantities but at frequent times?

They could also expand the selection of desserts so that there are varieties to choose from. But hey, it’s a cheap buffet. You get value for your money.

If you’re new in the city, should you eat at Dalle Valle Herlev restaurant? Absolutely yes! I think foreigners and tourists will have a good time there.

If you live in Copenhagen and you want a break from the kitchen or you want to eat out with your family, Dalle Valle Herlev restaurant is a good option as well.

Drinks are a little costly but the cheap buffet makes up for it. I also found the frozen lemonade too sweet.

I might be back there if I need a break from my African foods. LOL
