There’s this huge misconception that you need expensive lingerie with straps going everywhere and complicated lace contraptions to look hot to your boo.

Many of us drop hundreds of dollars on lingerie we’re uncomfortable in, squeezing into things that dig into our skin, all because we think that’s what men want.

Yeah, some men appreciate fancy lingerie.

But most men find simple, everyday stuff just as hot, sometimes even hotter.

Here’s what men actually find attractive, and most of it’s already hanging in your closet.

9 Ordinary But Super-Hot Things Men Want You To Wear In Bed

1. His T-shirt and Nothing Else

This is number one for a reason.

I remember my husband happily and proudly giving me some of his shirts to wear some months ago.

He was so pleased, I was surprised. 😂

Something about a woman in an oversized men’s t-shirt does something to a man.

Maybe it’s how big it looks on you or the whole “I’m stealing your clothes” thing.

Whatever it is, men consistently say this is one of the hottest things you can wear.

It’s comfortable for you, attractive to him, and you literally don’t have to buy anything.

Just grab one of his shirts, preferably one he wears a lot, and that’s it.

Even better if you’re wearing nothing underneath.

That’s the whole outfit.

His t-shirt.

Done.

2. An Oversized Button-Up

Similar vibe to the t-shirt, but with buttons.

And buttons are great because they’re easy to undo but also easy to leave partially undone for that casual, sexy look.😉

White button-up, nothing underneath, maybe leave a few buttons open at the top, you’re done.

It’s effortless.

It looks like you just threw something on without thinking about it.

And that naturalness is exactly what makes it hot.

3. Boy Shorts and a Tank Top

Not a matching lingerie set from Victoria’s Secret.

Just regular cotton boy shorts and a fitted tank top.

This is stuff you’d actually sleep in, which is why it works.

Men like it when you look good without it seeming like you’re trying super hard or putting on a show.

It’s comfortable, it’s cute, it shows your body without being over the top, and it feels real.

4. That Old, Soft Camisole

You know that camisole that has been washed so many times it’s practically see-through, fits your body perfectly because it’s so worn in, soft as hell.

Not the brand-new stiff one.

The old favorite that’s basically molded to you at this point.

There’s something about how it drapes, the sheerness, the softness, weird, but men find it really attractive.

It’s intimate without trying to be and sexy without working at it.

Just you in something comfortable that happens to look really good.

5. Just Underwear

Forget complicated lingerie.

Just a good pair of underwear, lace cotton, boy shorts, thong, whatever you’re comfortable in, and nothing else.

No bra.

No complicated setup.

Just you in underwear.

This works because it’s confident.

You’re comfortable being that exposed, and confidence is always attractive.

You’re not hiding anything or packaging yourself up.

You’re just… you, and that’s hot.

6. Sports Bra and Leggings

I know this sounds funny, but a lot of men find the athletic look really attractive.

That sports bra and leggings combo you wear to the gym or just lounging around the house?

Yeah, he’s noticed.

Maybe it’s the fitness implication or how the fabric hugs everything.

It could even be the fact that it’s different from typical “trying to be sexy” outfits.

Whatever it is, it works.

7. A Satin Robe, Loosely Tied

Not buttoned up… tight… covering everything.

No, hun.

But loosely tied so it opens here and there.

There’s just something classic about a woman in a robe.

Old Hollywood. Elegant but intimate.

And you don’t need expensive silk; a simple satin robe from Amazon does the job.

It’s about how it drapes and what it suggests is underneath.

Most importantly, it’s easy to take off, and that’s what makes men happy. lol

8. A Simple Slip Dress

Not a floor-length granny nightgown.

A simple, short slip dress or nightgown that’s actually comfortable to sleep in but still looks pretty.

This is classic sleepwear that’s been considered attractive forever because it’s soft, moves with you, and manages to be both modest and sexy at the same time.

You can find these anywhere, and they’re comfortable enough to actually wear regularly, which is the whole point.

9. Nothing

Sometimes the hottest thing you can wear is confidence and literally nothing else. 😘

No outfit, no costume.

Just you, completely comfortable being naked.

This strips away all performance.

It’s pure intimacy and trust.

Seeing you that comfortable in your own skin is often more attractive than any outfit you could put on.

Here’s what the lingerie industry doesn’t want us to know:

Men care way more about your confidence and comfort than whatever you are wearing.

You could be wearing $200 lingerie, but if you’re uncomfortable, constantly adjusting it, clearly not enjoying yourself, it’s not sexy.

And you could be in a $5 tank top, completely comfortable and confident, and you are irresistible.

Because they’re responding to you, not the fabric.

The outfit is just wrapping paper.

You’re the gift.

If you love lingerie, and it makes you feel amazing, wear it.

So I’m not saying lingerie is pointless.

Just release the pressure that you need it to be attractive.

You don’t.

Lingerie is fun for special occasions or when you’re in the mood to dress up.

That’s great.

But for regular nights?

These simple, comfortable things work just as well.

Your man is not in love with your lingerie collection.

He’s in love with you – comfortable, confident, real you.

This is just a reminder to stop stressing about the perfect sexy outfit and stop dropping money on uncomfortable lingerie you’ll wear once and then shove in the back of your drawer.

Stop thinking you need to look like you’re doing a photoshoot to go to bed with your husband.

Most of what men find hot is simple, comfortable, and already in your closet.
