Apart from genetic influence, which is beyond human power and manipulation, achieving glowing skin is largely determined by things we do and do not do.

Everyone does not have the same skin type even if they look similar.
It took me years to realize that there are different skin types—dry, oily, combination.

You cannot look flawless if you have dry skin, but use skincare products meant for people with oily skin and vice versa.
People who have flawless skin use skincare products that are suitable for their skin type.
I recently realized this as well.
Not every skincare product is meant for everyone, no matter how popular or hyped they are.
I usually make the mistake of buying skincare products because of their many positive reviews, not minding if they are for my skin type or not.
If you constantly feed your skin with unsuitable products, you cannot glow.
- They read the ingredients in their skincare products before using them
People who have flawless skin do not just apply skincare products without knowing what they are made of.
Some skincare products contain ingredients that you might be allergic to or products that should not be used for a long period of time, such as hydroquinone.

I am a skincare junkie.
I love to try new products, and this usually lands me in trouble because I have sensitive skin that reacts to almost everything.
However, the times I find products that my skin loves and stick to them, I glow and look enviably flawless.
People who look flawless know the products that suit their skin and stick to them.
This does not mean that they are not on the lookout for products that will enhance their looks.
While it’s okay to be on the lookout for skincare products that can help you achieve your skin goals, it’ll be difficult to achieve flawless skin if you make your skin, especially facial skin, an experiment for every skincare product you come across or hear about.

Beauty is from the inside out.
You cannot glow if you are trapped in relationships that zap your joy, peace, energy, and sanity.
