“Guy Keeps Texting My Girlfriend!” 9 Things To Do

Sharing is caring!

When a guy keeps texting your girlfriend, it’s normal to be concerned.

It shows you love your girlfriend and don’t want to lose her.

But you don’t want to overreact either.

You don’t want to jump to conclusions or assume that the guy’s intentions are bad or that he’s going to try and steal your girlfriend away from you.

Or even that your girlfriend is cheating on you.

Here are a few things that you can do if a guy keeps texting your girlfriend:

“Guy Keeps Texting My Girlfriend!”

Nine things to do…

1. Don’t Overreact

If you see your girlfriend getting text messages from another guy, don’t freak out or start accusing her of cheating on you.

If she were having an affair with this other guy, there would probably be other signs – like having secret meetings or hiding things from you – that would give away their relationship.

So don’t jump to conclusions just yet.

Just keep your cool until you know the full story.

It’s hard, I know, but that’s what being a mature man is—putting your emotions under control, being in charge of your behavior.

2. Ask Her What She Thinks About It

This might be the most direct way to find out how she feels about him, but it can also lead to some awkward conversations if you don’t ask the right questions.

Make sure that when you ask her about him, it isn’t accusatory or accusatory in nature.

You need to approach this conversation as an opportunity for her to talk honestly with you about her feelings and ideas without feeling like she needs to defend herself against something that may not exist yet.

She might have perfectly good reasons for doing so (like keeping in touch with an old friend), but at least she will know that you are concerned about it and want answers from her rather than being passive-aggressive about it.

3. Ask Her If She Likes Him or Not

This might be a tough question, but you need to know where her head/heart is.

You should also be ready for any answer, no matter what it is.

If she doesn’t like him, then there is nothing to worry about.

She will tell you so and get it over with.

If she does like him, ask her what she wants.

If she gets defensive, however, she might be hiding something from you.

4. Ask Her How Long She Has Known This Guy

Asking this question might give you an insight into the nature of their relationship.

If she has known him for a while and has been talking with him frequently over text messages, then there is nothing wrong with it.

It could be that they are friends.

If she has only known him for a short while, you can’t say what they want from each other yet.

5. If Possible, Ask to Hang Out Together and Get To Know Him

When the three of you get together, you’ll be able to see how they interact together and whether or not they have chemistry.

If there does seem to be chemistry between them but nothing more than that, maybe there isn’t anything for you to worry about after all.

They may just be getting along well.

However, if they don’t just have chemistry but are flirting with each other helplessly, even in your presence, they might be in love.

Still, keep your cool, and don’t make the meeting awkward by losing your cool.

6. Tough Love

If you’re worried about your girlfriend’s safety or think she might be getting into trouble with this guy, then it’s time for some tough love.

If you feel like this guy is manipulating her or that she’s going too far physically tell her so.

Be honest about how you feel and why it matters to you.

If she still decides to keep texting him, at least she’ll know how much it means to you and won’t think she has carte blanche to do whatever she wants without consequences.

Most importantly, let her know in a way that expresses your concern for her, not out of jealousy.

7. Trust Your Girlfriend

If your girlfriend has been faithful in the past, there’s no reason she wouldn’t be now.

Trust her when she tells you that they are just friends and nothing is happening between them.

She might not want to lie to you, so even if she doesn’t tell you everything, she’ll still be honest when it comes down to the important stuff like this one.

8. Focus on Your Relationship

You should focus on strengthening your relationship with her so that she knows how much you love her and care about her.

Ignore the noise and focus on the person you’re in a relationship with.

Don’t tell her what to do or how to act because she may feel as though you are trying to control her life.

If you want a serious relationship with her, do not try to control who texts her and who doesn’t.

9. Let Her Make Her Decision

The best thing you can do is let her make her decision, and don’t pressure her.

The worst thing you can do is try to force her into making a decision she doesn’t want to make.

If she wants to be with you, she will choose you; if she doesn’t, there’s nothing you can do.

But acting clingy, needy, and desperate will only make you less attractive to her and give her reasons she shouldn’t be with you.

If a guy keeps texting your girlfriend, let her make her own decision.

Your girlfriend is an adult, and she’s not yours to control.

She can make her own decisions and live with the consequences.

So you can’t make her do anything she doesn’t want to do.

But you can always talk to her about it and help her see things from your perspective.
